Notary Services

Notaries witness to an individual signing a document or sworn statement and nothing more. They are not attorneys and may not help to fill out legal forms or offer legal advice. If you need legal advice, please consult an attorney. The notary public is prohibited from helping to prepare, complete, or understand legal documents.

Fees (+tax):

$6.00 for first signature

$1.00 for each additional signature on same document

About Notary Services

Please view below information regarding our Notary Services. Please Note: Our notaries reserve the right to refuse to notarize any document for any reason.

1)

Form must be brought in unsigned and signed in the notary's presence. The signer must be present for form to be notarized.

2)

Services are generally available by appointment only. Anyone desiring notary services must contact us by submitting a booking request.

3)

All individuals seeking notarization as well as any known witnesses must provide valid photo identification issued by the United States government. The identification cannot be expired.

ACCEPTABLE FORMS OF IDENTIFICATION

  • U.S. State issued photo identification such as a driver's license

  • United States Passport

  • United States Visa

  • State issued gun license

  • US military photo identification

  • Federally Recognized, Tribal identification cards
     

UNACCEPTABLE IDENTIFICATION DOCUMENTS

  • Social Security Cards

  • Birth certificates

  • Credit Cards

  • We are unable to notarize using "Credible Witnesses"

  • IDs, Visas, or Passports from countries other than the United States

  • Photocopies, photographs, or digital copies of IDs

Please Note:

  • Witnesses WILL NOT be provided. Witnesses must have personal knowledge of the individual requiring the notarization and witnesses must provide appropriate and valid photo identification.

  • Documents in languages other than English may not be notarized nor may a translator be used. The notary and signer must be able to communicate directly. If the signer does not speak English they must go to a notary who speaks the same language.

  • Services are not available for:

    • Real Estate Documents such as deeds, mortgages, or leases (including Oil & Gas)

    • Wills, Living or Probate

    • Trusts (including Living/Invocable)

    • Codicils (an addition or supplement that explains, modifies, or revokes a will or part of one)

    • Depositions (the process of giving sworn evidence, typically performed on evidentiary documents that are critical to the operation of our civil and criminal justice system)

    • Property Transfer Documents

    • I-9

    • Records or Transcripts

    • Marriage or Divorce Decrees

  • Public documents, including birth and death certificates and marriage licenses, may not be notarized. This is called a Certified Copy and must be obtained by the County Clerk's Office.
